About Pack 805
Pack 805 has been serving youth since 2007
Originally partnered with First Redeemer Church as the Chartered Organization in 2007, Pack 805 later formed a new relationship and Big Creek Elementary PTO became the new Chartered Organization.
What is a Chartered Organization?
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) program is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values and principles taught in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
The Chartered Organization, as a duly constituted organization that serves youth, desires to use the program(s) of the BSA to further its mission respecting the youth it supports. The Local Council provides the support and service necessary to help the Chartered Organization succeed in its use of Scouting.
Journey To Excellence Unit
We are a Gold level Journey to Excellence Scouting Unit as measured by BSA's balanced scorecard indicating a highly successful, active, and growing Pack.
Scouting’s Journey to Excellence (JTE) is the BSA’s planning, performance, and recognition program designed to encourage and reward the success of our units, districts, and councils. It is meant to encourage excellence in providing a quality program at all levels of the BSA. Units can achieve Bronze, Silver, or Gold Level.
